I fell in love with the Doberman Breed when I bought my first one about twenty years ago. She was red, not papered, and probably not the greatest quality, but I called her Mandy and I loved her very much. I was raising and showing Arabian Horses at the time, and never thought of showing dogs. Mandy was a great family pet and died at the age of 11. I then rescued a red male from abusive people. They were trying to make him into a guard dog, and thankfully were unsuccessful. They had starved him, and by this time he was very frightened of humans. His name then was Baron and we renamed him Boo. He was the love of my life. He left me at the age of 9. I then decided that if I was to get another Doberman , it would be a good quality show dog. I looked for quite awhile trying to replace Boo. I found through Marienburg Kennels, Robbie, a red male, a beautiful puppy. What to do with a show puppy? I learned very quickly, like the horses, it was a lot of work; I loved every minute of it. I also decided , like with the horses, I wanted the best, and started to read and study everything about Dobermans. I was interested not only in showing, but obedience training. Robbie and I were going to do it all, and we did. Robbie became a finished champion, receiving his CGC,CD, ROM. I lost my Robbie, due to a tragic accident, he was only four; I was devastated. Mary Rodgers of Marienburg Kennels heard of my loss and called me up to her Kennel, where she had the most beautiful male puppy . I named him Gaucho, and a few weeks later I acquired his sister from Mary, which I named Diva. A woman in Oregon had one of two of Robbies only daughters and gave her to me, because of my loss, this is Kelsey. I also at the same time acquired a Lex Luther daughter, Lanie. Gaucho, Diva, Kelsey, Lanie are now my tribe. My goal is to breed with excellence, temperament and quality. I have truly been lucky to have the guidance of Mary Rodgers ,she has helped me breed Dobermans of the quality and excellence she has produced for the past 30 years. Please click on each of the Chados Dobermans, to see pictures with their pedigrees. We will also have puppies available from time to time. We have selective breeding as well.
